Dating Safety
Trust should grow from consistent behaviour, not from a badge, a photograph or a persuasive story. Use these checks before sharing private information or agreeing to meet.
Before, during and after a first meeting
Before
- Keep your home, workplace and financial details private.
- Use a video call to check that the person matches the profile.
- Choose a busy public venue and arrange independent travel.
- Tell a trusted person where you will be and when you expect to leave.
During
- Keep control of your phone, drink and transport.
- Do not move to a private location because of pressure or a promised gift.
- Leave if boundaries change, the story becomes inconsistent or you simply feel uncomfortable.
After
- Review whether actions matched what was said beforehand.
- Save evidence of threats, impersonation or financial requests.
- Block and report contact when necessary; do not negotiate with intimidation.
Money and identity warning signs
Never pay a fee to release a transfer, receive an overpayment and return the difference, buy gift-card codes for another person, move money through your account or share banking access. Do not send identity documents merely to prove that you are genuine.
A completed-looking screenshot is not proof that funds have cleared. Contact your bank or payment provider through its official channel if anything appears unusual.
Reporting and urgent help
Send profile reports to support@uksugardaddy.co.uk with the profile name, relevant URL, date and a short explanation. UKSugarDaddy can review activity on the service, but it cannot replace police, emergency services, a bank or specialist professional advice.
